Deltona Ambush Shooting Attack
(Deltona, FL) -- A Deltona man is recovering from injuries sustained in an ambush shooting attack. The Volusia County Sheriff's Office said a 39-year-old man was shot three times Saturday night by two masked men after pulling into the driveway of his Sable Avenue home. Authorities said three of the man's children witnessed the attack. The victim was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition. The children were unhurt. The suspected perpetrators got away.
Orlando Alligator Attack
(Orlando, FL) -- A girl in Orlando has survived an alligator attack. Fish and Wildlife personnel said the ten-year-old was bit Saturday while swimming at Lake Mary Jane in Moss Park. The girl suffered a bite to the knee by a nine-foot gator that was trapped and euthanized. The lake shore is closed this week.
