BML WOW: Coffee, Media & Elections

Can Starbucks predict the presidential election? We’ll explore the idea IN A HANDBASKET this morning. The media will get some attention. The New York Times is a bit surprised that the Biden camp expects the Times to be…well, the Times! Other media seems confounded over how some Democrats are leaning heading into the election. Apparently, they aren’t living in the same economy as the rest of us. Big Tech is flexing its power in election communications…again.

UNC has a professor problem. Some are withholding grades to try and force the school to cave to protesters’ demands. The university has responded. Columbia law grads will find some difficulty is landing work with some judges. They should.

The Brevard County commission will reconsider its public comment policy. Why not? Is there an issue they haven’t reconsidered after making a so-called decision? They do this a lot. Maybe they should consider working for the people of Brevard instead of their own political interests.

We’ll get to all of that, or maybe none of that today. After all, it’s Wide Open Wednesday and we’ll leave the topics up to you when you call the show at 321.768.1240 or hit us up with the Talk Back feature on the iHeart Radio app.
