LOS ANGELES, March 23, 2012 – On Thursday, March 22, America Now with Andy Dean welcomed Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich for a candid conversation. Andy asked Newt about Ron Paul’s extremist views, the advice Newt would give Romney if Romney becomes the Republican nominee, and the debt challenge facing our country if Obama is re-elected.
Below are some highlights from the interview. Click here to hear the interview in it's entirety.
DEAN: “I'm an anti-Ron Paul guy because his foreign policy's insane. Why doesn't Ron Paul drop out of this race?”
GINGRICH: “Ron Paul is a protest candidate who runs because he runs. He is supported by people who share his extremist views, and they're happily off in their own world. I mean, they're, they're impervious to any kind of argument, and who knows what he's going to do?”
DEAN: “Mr. Speaker, talking about Mitt Romney for a second ... if he does get the nomination, the goal here for everybody is to beat Barack Obama. So, if you were his top strategy advisor, what would you tell him that he needs to start doing to make his case more forcefully against Barack Obama?”
GINGRICH: “Slow the whole race down and pick three or four gigantic themes and never get off of them . You want to pick fights where, where the facts are so heavily on your side, and where the American people are so heavily on your side, that you win... and that requires a slower race, not a faster race...you want to make your case very calmly, very methodically, and have people just decide, you know? That guy is right.”
DEAN: “If Obama gets another four years, are we as a country past the point of no return, where we're never going to be able to pay off all these debts? I mean, how bad could that be? What do you see?”
GINGRICH: “Well, it can be extraordinarily bad because if we get any level of inflation at all, the US government is now the largest debtor in the world...with a very low interest rate, we're going to pay $415 billion this year in interest on the debt, not paying on the debt, just interest on the debt...and if we get very much inflation at all, it's going to take off in a way that is very frightening.”

"Andy provides a fantastic mix of meaty insight on important issues with a unique and sharp sense of humor."

LOS ANGELES, September 6, 2011 -- America Now with Andy Dean added WSB-AM 750 and 95.5 FM in Atlanta to its growing list of affiliates today on September 6.
The addition of WSB is a homecoming of sorts for Dean, who got his start in radio guest-hosting several programs on the station before WSB Program Director Pete Spriggs gave him his own show, The Andy Dean Program.
Spriggs commented, "Andy just breaks through. He's extremely smart and informed, but there's also a great flippant sense of humor to go with all the incredible content. You can't stop listening. His potential is really unlimited."
Dean stated, "Pete Spriggs is a genius. All the great things Pete says about me are 100% true, and any comments that were not great, I edited out of the press release. I'm excited to come back to the place where I got my first shot in radio, and I'm extremely grateful to Pete and WSB."
America Now with Andy Dean welcomed Coast to Coast AM host and fellow Premiere Networks personality George Noory in studio last week for a live interview. Noory, who hosts the most-listened-to overnight radio program featuring discussions on news and current events, conspiracy theories and all things curious and unexplained, spoke to Dean on a variety of topics, including the 2012 presidential race, the existence of other intelligent life in the universe, the truth behind September 11th, and much more.

Noory had a few bones to pick with Dean about his new gig
NOORY: “When you first came to this network, you announced that you came with a suitcase of cash…you took it all. You took everything. There’s nothing left for us. That’s number one. Number two: I’ve been in this studio for eight years, in this building. Your facility is bigger than mine, more spacious, and it’s brand new. Number three: two of your employees, Miranda and Michelle, they were working with me. They’re gone, too! But it’s nice to have you here, Andy.”
On the existence of UFOs
DEAN: “Tell me your thoughts on UFO’s, because I want to know where you’re coming from…Do they exist?”
NOORY: “I look at the study of UFO’s in a very scientific way. You look at this universe, and I’m sure you have walked around at night, and you’ve looked at the stars and the planets. You have to say to yourself, ‘we cannot be alone in the universe. They have got to be out there.’ Now the big question is, ‘are they coming here?’ I think so.”
On Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul
DEAN: “The only proof that aliens do exist on this planet is in the form of Ron Paul. …tell me why you’re attracted to Ron Paul’s candidacy and why does the mainstream media ignore Ron Paul? Is it because he’s an ugly guy?”
NOORY: (laughs) “First of all, I’m non-partisan. I call it the way I see it.…of all the candidates to date that I’ve seen out there on the Republican side, he seems to be the most honest of the bunch. He seems to be the one who cares more about America…I think he’s a truth seeker…All I want in a politician is somebody to tell us the truth…I think Americans can handle the truth if they’re told it.”
America Now with Andy Dean, which launched into syndication this week on more than 30 stations nationwide, welcomed special guest Donald Trump on air on Tuesday, Aug. 9. Dean, who served as President of Donald Trump Productions for six years, in addition to being a contestant on season two of Trump's hit NBC program The Apprentice, spoke to his former boss about 2012 politics and rumors that he may run for President of the United States.

DEAN: "Do you see any Republican candidate defeating Obama?"
TRUMP: "Without even going through the field, Andy, I think Obama is very beatable. I think his presidency has been a total catastrophe, it's been a disaster..."
DEAN: "There's a rumor that you may announce your candidacy for President of the United States as an Independent --right now, on my show. Is there any truth to that rumor?"
TRUMP: "There's no truth to that whatsoever, but we'll see what happens. I have a big show coming up, and I'm not allowed, as you know better than anybody, I'm not allowed to do anything during the course of that show. But that will end at the end of May and I'm allowed to do whatever I want to do after that, so we'll see. Look, if the Republicans pick the right person, I'll be very happy. If they pick the wrong person and the economy continues to be bad, I may surprise a lot of people..."
DEAN: "We'll be waiting until May 2012 to see if you announce your run as an Independent for President of the United States. I think it could be a very compelling candidacy..."
TRUMP: "We have a lot of fun, but much more importantly than fun, I love this country. I hate what's happening to this country, and I'm really glad you're doing what you're doing, Andy, because you're really coming at it with the correct viewpoint. And you're going to have a big audience, and you're going to be a big success, and I'm going to be proud of you, and you better remember Donald Trump."
