The BREC picnic was a huge success on Saturday with over 800 people in attendance. We’ll talk the straw poll numbers just a bit this morning as we get your day started. To vote for real in the August 14 Primary, today is your last day to register or switch your registration. It was a busy news weekend as there was a standoff in Palm Bay that sent officers to the hospital and a suspect to jail. The federal government will give Florida access to the DHS database for verifying citizen status. More election worries could be in play as this list is available very close to the November election. Speaking of which, the President is not very respectful of you. When it comes to hope and change…it’s no thanks to you. As the nation’s governors met over the weekend one thing is clear…Washington is a problem.

Bill Mick has been in talk radio since the late 1990's. Coming to the mic after a career in law enforcement and management in private industry, Bill was also a collegiate and professional baseball umpire who had served 6 years in the West Virginia Air National Guard as a "weekend warrior".
