WHICH IS MORE DANGEROUS? DEPENDS ON WHOM YOU ASK

This Tuesday we are anticipating a visit from Col. Oliver North in hour number 3.  He is scheduled to join us as we close the show at 8:45.  Meetings have started on school closings and the board’s answers don’t seem to be satisfying to parents.  Matt Reed tries to make sense of why some schools are closing and new ones are scheduled to open.  He talked with Superintendent Brian Binggeli about the conflict.  Binggeli has never appeared on this program and his only overture to doing so was to advocate for the recently failed sales tax proposal.  I declined that request offering instead for him to call the program when the tax was featured in discussion.  He did not do so.  It does appear from the outside that the closures are somewhat of a vendetta toward voters who simply asked the board for responsibility and accountability with dollars they already have.  A Florida Tech student is in jail after exploding a home made bomb on campus.  His attorney is grabbing at straws.  While Washington considers tax hikes, China is lowering taxes to boost business.
