TOO LOUD?

Our first full week of 2013 begins with guns still in the forefront.  Florida Today editorializes over something they fear, but appears willing to consider facts.  Record crowds are reported at gun shows across the country.  Proposed law in Connecticut would make handgun permit holder information public.  A Melbourne police officer was involved in two shootings during 2012 and they are under review.  Matt Reed looks at the “fiscal cliff” legislation with a skeptical eye.  Satellite Beach completes its transition away from responsible government.  The Air Force’s next generation fighter is causing concerns…not about spending, but about noise.  Come on, people, you can’t have it both ways!  Scott Ellis has a tough job as he returns to the Clerk’s office.  The battle over school taxes and cuts continues with a march this week.  Folks, it’s time to talk, not march!  Red light cameras are making the news again as accidents are down across the state, but can’t be tied to the cameras.  The president has objected to a protection clause for military chaplains that would allow the clergy members to not perform marriages that are contrary to their belief systems.
