AT THE POLICE HALL OF FAME SUNDAY
It’s a daily occurrence for us; another day, another story about an overreaction to a kid and a gun, or a non-gun. Today is no different. Some Florida mayors are joining the Bloomberg anti-gun push. The whole gun discussion atmosphere has pushed ammunition manufacturers to capacity and shoppers to early lines. When it comes to terrorists and being ready to take them on did you think your church could be on the list? The NCAA has its basketball championship tonight, but for all the excitement, the PC mood in the country has cost a coach and an athletic director their jobs. And while the PC bandwagon rolls, let’s get rid of mascots honoring Native Americans. Congress gets back to work this week and immigration and gun control are on tap. While the Port Authority’s hired attorney says the Port may NOT donate $5m to Brevard Schools, Commissioner Bruce Deardoff says his hired gun says differently and that the push to donate is still on.
