THE BREVARD FEDERATION OF TEACHERS
I recorded Matt Reed’s TV show with him yesterday morning and we covered several items in today’s news including the Superintendent Brian Binggeli’s plan for school employee raises and the union’s ridiculous response, the NSA whistle blower and Governor Scott’s job push (or lack thereof). We also talked job efforts in Brevard, how business friendly the area is (or isn’t) and a day in the life of prepping and running the show. You’ll see it on WBCC-TV (Bright House channel 9) tomorrow at 11:30am, 4:30 and 10pm.
Elsewhere today, the school district has decided to keep Dual Enrollment, a mission beyond the school district’s scope, at a cost equal to running another school for a year. The Defense has out-lawyered and out-experted the State in the George Zimmerman trial. Angela Corey and Governor Scott should be thoroughly embarrassed by the case they are presenting so far. I’m not the only one citing the governor’s missteps in the play for jobs in Florida. Edward Snowden, the NSA whistle blower, is speaking out, this time to an on-line audience. The president says the info grab by the NSA is transparent and the Supreme Court has decided Arizona can’t require ID for voting.
