Bill: I am nonplussed that you and Frank Solidas (correct: Zilaitis) were suggesting on this morning’s show that Obama is somehow trying to help this country.
The man is a Statist, a Communist, and, at best, a sympathizer of Muslim terrorists.
You are starting to sound like Bill O’Reilly, straddling both sides of the fence. My sense is, you are concerned about FCC licensing and are starting a tilt to the left.
Obviously, you are entitled to your views, but a pox on your house for supporting Obama.

Your brother's gun store adventure serves to remind us that, since most of our legislators come from the legal domain, much of the legislation they pass serves to primarily benefit their profession by keeping more of them employed. Our Dear Lord Jesus brilliantly stated what is readily apparent to any who would ponder the issue: "... Woe unto you also, [ye] lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers." Luke 11:46
In deference to sparing his self-esteem, better not let Frank read this. God Bless, Skip
You sort of hit it with the rifle purchase. We are becoming a nation
governed by edict, not law. Add to that, too damn many lawyers
writing too damn many laws for too damn many lawyers. I was just in a
short debate on FNS about regulations. Nowhere in our Constitution is
there any provision allowing the Congress to delegate law writing
power to the executive. If it has the force of law, it is law.

I check a couple of Beaches during the cold weather - and there was not one person located near our life guards. Please review the photo from Florida Today (click link). Please explain to me how any rational person could conclude that this is NOT a waste of taxpayer funds. This has been the coldest December on record - and we are paying full time life guards to bundle in winter clothing. I do not even believe they could respond to a victim (read hypothermia) in the clothing they are wearing. I do not believe ski jackets were made for ocean rescue. This is why the Taxpayers think we are all out of touch. Please advise on how you plan to adress this in the budget. I would be more than happy to discuss under my reports on January 11th if you have no feedback!

Happy New Year Bill, hope you enjoyed your week off with family and friends!
I had to answer other to the question on your website. My top concern for 2011 (and was for 2010) is border security and illegal (criminals) in our country. First of all I believe in LEGAL IMMIGRATION as most people and other countries abide with, but without proper border security and control of illegals it affects every item on your list. !. Economy – a drain on our economy with 22 million ilegals taking from all of tax dollars and with unemployment rate so high, don’t tell me they are doing jobs legal citizen’s would not do.
2. Terrorism – what an easier way to get into any country as an unsecured border.
3. Family – yep it affects our families too!
4. Taxes – sure let’s dump more money to support “illegals”
5. Employment - see answer 1 (economy)
6. War – It is a war along the border with drug cartels and our limited border patrols
7. Freedom -
Why can’t we control our borders as all other countries do?
Dave
