For decades now, the mob have been subjected to the old "good cop/bad cop" routine. Political labels like left wing, right wing, conservative, liberal, progressive, no label, etc., have all taken on such an air of deceit that there is only confusion. The mob can not draw any accurate, precise meaning from political labels. It takes too much time and effort for most of the mob to actually study the voting records and past associations of the politicians.
The "ruling class" are doing a superb job of holding the mob under control while the fleecing continues.
There are probably four categories of people in the mob that the "ruling class" recognizes, for management purposes, of course. Those categories seem to be wolves, sheep, judas goats, and scapegoats...
Oh yeah, there seems to be another category who might be identified as sheepdogs. The "ruling class" are always watching for these sheepdogs and the mob looks for them, too. Sheepdogs believe in the rule of law, the U.S. Constitution, customs and traditions, right and wrong, mom and apple pie...
Sheepdogs are always in danger... How many sheepdogs are there? Who are the sheepdogs ???
Certainly not RINOs like Boehner or DINOs like Pelosi... and not a lot of the mob.
Some of whom are sheepdogs will be trying to overcome the old "political ground holding" phase of the subversive political game. RINOs, DINOs, et al, have always been real good at "holding political ground." Will the mob continue to hold still so the fleecing can go on ??? Or maybe, this time, will the mob support the sheepdogs instead of betraying them through inaction and treachery ???
"...Mr. Boehner now finds himself master of a Republican majority created by a group of newcomers whose hallmark is a restless cry for action. On issues from cutting spending to raising the government's debt ceiling, Mr. Boehner's burden will be letting his freshmen members vent while keeping the House on track. ..." Dennis
Having been a drill sergeant in the Army, I was the instructor for one of the most boring classes of all. First aid and the various types of mosquitoes. Very important subject because it was during the
I had a friend who served in the submarine service. He was stationed on a nuclear sub and every time they went out he spent six months under water. They had lots of books and magazine to read and even 1st run movies to watch. However, after a time things got pretty boring for them. They would look for things to do. He was telling me one time they had a FART contest or say passing the gas contest. They had a tape recorder setup so whenever you had the urge. When he was telling me the story I was laughing so hard I could hardly handle it. Leave it up to the men in service.
Welcome back, I hope you have a great 2011.
In regards to the Navy discussion.
What jumps out to me is hypocrisy from the PC crowd. Case and point:
Charlie Rangel, a democrat can do wrong for 30 years and we can't get rid of him and he will not leave on his own.
Bill Clinton can get oral favors from under a desk, and we can't get rid of him and he doesn't leave on his own.
A republican can get in trouble and he leaves, or his own party throws him out.\
This Navy man is doing his job and having some humor, and he has to go!
I can't figure it out.
